Hello!

I'm Claudia !
I became a Developmental Educator after finishing my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Special Education)/ Bachelor of Disability Studies at Flinders University. I am a registered practicing Developmental Educator through the Developmental Educators Association (DEA). I have spent most of my career supporting other neurodivergent individuals in a variety of settings, including kindergarten, school, home and in the community.
As a neurodivergent person myself, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my practice, which strengthens my commitment to providing inclusive, and individualised support.
What I love most about being a Developmental Educator is supporting other neurodivergent children and adults to better understand themselves, develop self-awareness, discover strategies that work for them, build new skills, achieve their goals, and celebrate the little wins along the way!
My practice is guided by neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approaches, recognising that every person has their own way of learning, communicating, and experiencing the world. I strive to create supports that are individualised, and connected to each person's strengths, needs, and personal goals.
